Here is the general process and supplies we use for spraying kitchen cabinets
Remove doors and drawers to be sprayed at our shop
Clean all cabinet frames with a heavy duty degreaser (TSP)
Prep the surface with a liquid sanding chemical so the primer will stick appropriately
Mask off the kitchen, paper and tape on the inside of the cabinets, the counters, floors etc… We also install a plastic vapor barrier to prevent overspray from leaving the kitchen
Spray an oil based primer on all the cabinets
Spray 2 coats of a water based enamel, my typical recommendation is Sherwin Williams Emerald Urethane Trim enamel
Remove Masking and Re-installing cabinet doors and hardware.
